The Faith of the Believer

There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. Job 1:1

A BELIEVER’S FAITH IS BUILT ON HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.

You can see that Job had that in the above verse. You can see this type of faith in Abraham, Moses, Daniel, Elijah, Elisha, and David to name a few. These men knew God in an intimate way.

A BELIEVER’S FAITH MUST BE MAINTAINED.

Job maintained his faith (Job 1:20-22 and again in Job 2:7-10).

A BELIEVER’S FAITH REQUIRES TRUSTING UNDER ALL CIRCUMSTANCES.

But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
Job 23:10

A BELIEVER’S FAITH FINDS GOD IN THE TIME OF TRIALS.

For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth… Job 19:25

Job found hope and assurance amongst the trials. His relationship with God is about to go to a whole new level. His faith in God will forever be strengthened.
