You Can’t Do without the Cross

And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

Hebrews 9:22

1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 14:1-3, 6

And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

Hebrews 12:24

It was upon the cross where Jesus laid down His life. He shed His blood for the atonement of our sins. It is this gift, His own life, which allows all who believe on His name, Jesus, to become the sons of God and giving us access to our Father in Heaven. Jesus won the victory over death and sin. This is the prepared way Jesus spoke of in (John 14:3).
Jesus proved to be the Son of God by His resurrection from the dead. A person comes to God when He believes in Jesus Christ, kneels before the foot of the cross and repents of sin, laying it all down at Jesus feet. There is no other way to come to God. It is the finished work of Jesus on the cross.
The blood of Jesus is the only way out of the condemnation of this world. (John 14:6) Remember the new covenant and walk in freedom. (Hebrews 12:24)
