YOU SAY IT BEST WHEN YOU SAY NOTHING AT ALL

“Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth” (1 Corinthians 8:1) The apostle Paul said we should edify (build up) one another “Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do” (1 Thess. 5:11) Jude said we should edify (build up) ourselves by praying in the Holy Ghost. “But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost” (Jude 1:20) Again, the apostle Paul said they did all things to edify the church (The true believers in Christ) “Again, think ye that we excuse ourselves unto you? we speak before God in Christ: but we do all things, dearly beloved, for your edifying” (2 Cor. 12:19) The apostle Paul also gives instructions for edifying “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers” (Eph. 4:29) One of two things happen every time we speak. We blow up (tear down) or we build up (edify). If you cannot speak things which edify, IT MAY BE BEST TO SAY NOTHING AT ALL.
