To this day I have a great love for Jesus, He is my Lord and Savior. Something amazing happened when I first came to Him and said “I love you.” I found out that Jesus loved me before I even knew Him.

“Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”
1 John 4:10

God sent His Son to be a propitiation (mercy seat) for my sin. The One True Living God, the Creator of Heaven and earth, gave His Son to pay the price for my sin. There is no greater love than this, that a man lay down his life for his friend.
“We love him, because he first loved us.” 1 John 4:19
